So easy to make your own chilli preparations from scratch using raw ingredients, there really aren't any excuses for taking shortcuts.

You need only look at the way these types of challenges are presented in the United States, where most establishments manufacture/source their own unique chilli concoctions.

Besides, the Mega Death sauce isn't even the hottest sauce in the Blair's range (the title of which belongs to the Ultra Death sauce, excluding the even hotter extracts).

Re: KOTOBUKI ROLL @ SUSHI KOTOBUKI

It was the best! I've been eating there for 20 years. It's still good - I come mainly for the potatoes. And I always ask for a cheese pizza and they are very willing to cook one. The cheese pizza at Shakeys is great. They can keep the weird stuff. As busy as these places are I don't know why they don't have more of them. 8 is not enough for greater Tokyo.

Re: #QLDFLOODS PHOTO COMPARISONS

The strangest bit about the flood was that all the places I grew up in were flooded. I know lots of people that were affected whereas I was not. I could see the effects of the flood; all the debris floating down the river, the CBD becoming a ghost town, the power outages across Brisbane (especially South Bank, Milton and West End), but all we had was the occasional lift outage and the possibility of the power being cut. I guess it's partly survivor's guilt.

Those photos on news.com.au is exactly where I got the idea from. Bearing in mind the restaurant was two thirds EMPTY, we were a bit surprised to be told we couldn't sit there as it was a table for 4. I politely told the waiter that I had a bad back and would be unable to sit for any length of time on the hard metal seats and that as there were plenty of large tables available should a party of 4 arrive could I pls remain seated where I was. He "had to go and check". He returned to apologise and tell us that we could not sit at the outside table but there was a table with a comfortable seat inside.

Now it was the first sunny day in weeks and we didn't want to sit inside. I was a bit grumpy by this time and told the (very polite and apologetic) waiter that as the restaurant was practically empty the manager/owner or whomever was being ridiculous so we would dine elsewhere ... which we did. Very disappointing! When we drove passed the place about 90 mins later (having dined elsewhere) the place was even emptier!

I really don't understand the trend for bloody uncomfortable seating in a dining facility which, one would think, is trying to encourage it's customers to relax and linger over 3 courses and wine - and I SERIOUSLY don't understand the attitude of "you will sit where I tell you to sit" when the place is practically empty. All I can say is that they must be making too much money in the evenings to bother about the comfort of their lunch-time trade.

Re: GO!GO!7188 – GO!!GO!GO!GO!!

Awesome! It was an experience for sure, and while I know betther than to touch my streaming eyes with my hands, the hot fumes seeped through the napkin as I tried to wipe away the tears running down my face. I couldn't see my plate for all the fluids leaving my eyes and nose, but once I washed away the saline, I finished the burger with ease. My mouth was numb compared to the hell my eyes had been feeling. Howver, I have to say that I could not taste any of the burger, just the heat. I loved the experience, but I am going back for a plain one next time.

Re: SHOCOLATE

just don't try to take any photos when you are there, coz they ask you not to....... making you feel like a terrorist or something.... :(
although the chocolate was delish ;)

Re: NT HOT CHILLI SAUCE

Hi, Can please let me know how I can buy this sauce, I am in Sydney.
